BART the Great (Tour Guide) led the way. First off easy to communicate with on WhatsApp or text/email. English was terrific. He knew every bit of Amsterdam. Very fair and flexible pricing as we could only last for 2 hours of our scheduled 3 hours due to our schedule and that Bart is in typical Netherlands tip top shape. Great perspective of catholicism and protestantism and capitalism created today’s Dutch business oriented not religious oriented society. He’s great. Try him!

Bart was an awesome guide! From customizing the perfect tour for my day trip in Amsterdam, to his in-depth knowledge of the sights along the tour as well as Jordaan area, Bart made my time in Amsterdam absolutely amazing! In between the picturesque views, there was plenty of time to stop by a waterfront cafe for apple pie and coffee. Several months before our trip, we reached out to Bart to arrange a tour of Amsterdam and the Tulip Garden. Even though, unfortunately, the Tulip Gardens were sold out, Bart provided us with a wonderful two hour walking tour of Amsterdam showing many of the hidden little details that you would absolutely miss if you tried to do this on your own. Bart is professional, polite, very good at communications and knows Amsterdam like the back of his hand. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and found it well worth the cost. If ever back in Amsterdam, we would reach out to again.

My wife and I had a fantastic oneon one tour with Bart. We are in our 70’s and wanted a relaxed tour at our pace. Bart was perfect for this, though if you wanted to go faster and cover more ground he could have done that! Bart was very personable and easy to talk to with an excellent knowledge of the detail of Amsterdam which is so important. During our tour we walked down a street that we had been in ourselves the day before. It was amazing how much we missed and Bart pointed out to us! Overall, we would highly recommend Bart to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam and getting the inside track on it’s development and history.

Wonderful guide. Knowledgeable and personable. We really liked how he wove stories of Amsterdam and then showed us the related paintings in the Rijksmuseum. This really added to our enjoyment of the tour. If you are looking for a guide in Amsterdam, you can’t go wrong in hiring Bart.
